Praying is very important, but the most important part is listening. We do our best to talk to God, but God already knows what we need. He is waiting on us to hear him.
Find that quiet spot you can sit and listen. When you connect to God, you will receive the messages. I would relate this to the old TVs back in the day with the rabbit ear antennas. You can move the antennas all over the room but until you have them in the right spot, the signal will not be received. The right spot connects you to the signal and the picture is clear. This works similarly to us. Position yourself to receive the signals and you will. Listening to all the distractions of the world will keep you on the treadmill of the world.
